How to know when a venue is actually right.

Beyond the photographs: guest experience, logistics, flexibility and the feeling you cannot spreadsheet.

How to know when a venue is actually right.

Venue photographs are taken at the best hour, in the best season, with someone else’s flowers. The real question is how the place works on your day, with your people.

If you can picture your guests there at midnight, you have probably found it.

Questions worth asking

Where do guests go between the ceremony and dinner, and what happens if it rains? How far is the nearest place to stay? When does the music have to stop?

Visit at the time of day you plan to marry, walk the route your guests will take, and notice how the place makes you feel when nobody is selling it to you.
